On 29 May 2026 the US Department of Energy issued Program Notice 26-2, revising guidance for the $4.3 billion HOMES and $4.5 billion High-Efficiency Electric Home Rebate (HEEHR) programmes under the Inflation Reduction Act. Marketing, tenders, and e-commerce listings should cite the correct implementation rule and GB test standard per SKU—mixed old/new labels across channels remain a market-supervision risk.
